49ers' LB Dre Greenlaw Ejected After Headbutting Seahawks' Ernest Jones IV

49ers LB Dre Greenlaw was ejected in the second quarter after headbutting Seahawks LB Ernest Jones IV during a sideline scuffle triggered by a late hit on QB Sam Darnold.
The late shove as Darnold was going out of bounds drew a penalty, and Greenlaw’s entry onto the Seahawks’ sideline and the headbutt led to the immediate ejection.
The incident adds to scrutiny of Greenlaw’s behavior — it came one week after another controversial episode in San Francisco’s Week 4 win over Denver.
