Mets Make Long-Term Decision On Interim Manager Andy Green

Andy Green was promoted from interim to full-time Mets manager with a three-year extension through 2029.
The team went 37-38 under Green but still sits 71-85 and last in the NL East, missing the playoffs again.
Green, a former Met player and ex-Padres manager, was praised by owners for bringing discipline, accountability and positivity to the clubhouse.
