Sweden to deploy fighter jets, warships to Finland

Sweden will deploy Gripen fighter jets and a corvette to help surveil and protect Finland through at least the end of 2026.
The assistance aims to boost air surveillance (freeing Finnish forces to respond to incidents) and may include anti‑drone systems and help repelling airspace violations.
