Oyo Nyimba, Ugandan 'boy king' who mesmerized world leaders, dies at 34

Oyo Nyimba, the Tooro king who was coronated at age 3 and long billed as the world’s youngest king, has died at 34 after being treated abroad — his illness and sudden death shocked many.
Tooro officials say the crown’s continuity is assured and a prince heir exists, but his identity will be revealed later according to tradition.
The Tooro kingdom is an ancient cultural monarchy in western Uganda (restored in 1993); Oyo was unmarried and widely seen as one of Uganda’s most eligible bachelors.
