ChatGPT Can Now Control iMessage, Potentially Raising Apple Privacy Concerns

ChatGPT on Mac can now read, search, summarize, write and send iMessage texts — basically act on your Messages app.
The feature is likely to raise privacy questions and adds tension with Apple (which recently sued OpenAI) and could overlap with Siri's upcoming capabilities.
OpenAI says it’s opt-in, runs locally and requires explicit macOS permissions (Full Disk Access, contact access) before it can touch your messages.
