Teacher lied about relationship with ex-pupil

A teacher at Eckington School resigned and has been banned after admitting to a sexual relationship with a former pupil.
A TRA panel found he lied about when the relationship began, breaching professional boundaries and damaging public trust.
The school referred the matter to regulators; a prohibition order was imposed with a two‑year review period.
