Women's CBK AP Top 25: South Carolina Is No. 1, While New-Look UCLA Slips

South Carolina is preseason No. 1 again (5th time in 7 years) — Dawn Staley calls it a "gift and curse" with big expectations.
The Gamecocks open a brutal stretch: five ranked opponents in the first month, including UConn (Nov. 24 in Uncasville), USC and Duke.
Other storylines: UConn at No. 2, defending champ UCLA, USC gets JuJu Watkins back, and the Big Ten placed a record nine teams in the Top 25.
