Mural of 19th Century engineer painted over after appearing on wall
- A mural of engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel appeared on a building in Briton Ferry but was painted over after the owner said they hadn’t been asked for permission.
- Councillor Gareth Rice funded and unveiled the mural, said he believed permission had been obtained, but accepted the owner’s right and may look for a new site.
- The piece was by Steve Jenkins (Jenks Art), who’s done other local murals, and highlights Brunel’s historic link to the town (he built Briton Ferry Dock).
