Kalen DeBoer Is Unreal vs. Top-25 Teams On The Road — But Ryan Day Isn't Far Behind

Kalen DeBoer is almost unreal at beating AP top-25 teams on the road — he leads active FBS coaches in true road wins vs ranked opponents.
Winning those hostile road games tends to predict playoff success — DeBoer, Ryan Day, Kirby Smart, Marcus Freeman and Dan Lanning have all reached the CFP, and Day/Smart have national titles.
Saturday’s matchup is a close, fun contrast: Alabama’s Keelon Russell vs Mississippi State’s Kamario Taylor (similar completion %, yards and INTs), plus the lighthearted “black hoodie of death” superstition around DeBoer.
