Michigan Benches Bryce Underwood, Turns To Freshman Tommy Carr vs. Penn State

Michigan benched sophomore QB Bryce Underwood at halftime vs. Penn State and turned to true freshman Tommy Carr.
Carr immediately sparked the offense, engineering back-to-back touchdown drives to put Michigan up 14-3.
Carr brings a big-name pedigree — a four-star recruit from Saline and grandson of 1997 national title coach Lloyd Carr — making the QB decision a hot topic heading into the next game.
