Taiwan says its delegates have been barred from ocean conference in Kenya

Kenya barred Taiwanese delegates from the Our Ocean Conference in Mombasa—Taiwan says visas were revoked at the last minute and some participants had their passports and phones held for more than 20 hours.
Taiwan strongly protested, accusing Kenya of yielding to pressure from China and misusing the "One China" principle; China praised Kenya for upholding that stance.
The diplomatic row overshadowed an international marine protection conference that brings together governments, scientists and civil society.
