- Ravens are finalizing a trade for veteran QB Jacoby Brissett as a short-term answer after Lamar Jackson (thumb surgery, placed on IR) and backup Tyler Huntley (season-ending turf toe) were both injured.
- Brissett, 33, is an 11-year vet who started eight games for Arizona this season (1,719 yards, 10 TDs) and offers immediate starting experience, but is likely a temporary fix.
- Baltimore is 4-4, on a three-game slide, and faces the Jaguars Thursday night — the trade is expected to be completed this weekend.
