A Homecoming At NC State: Philip Rivers Reportedly Agrees To Become Wolfpack's Head Coach

Philip Rivers is returning to NC State as the program’s new head coach, coming back to the school where he became a college legend.
Rivers is a retired NFL quarterback and NC State great (his No. 17 is retired), though his coaching experience has been at the high-school level rather than in college.
The hire has a family angle: Rivers’ son, four-star QB Gunner Rivers, is set to join the Wolfpack.
