Lane Kiffin Expects 'Hatred' In Oxford Return, Claims 'Both Sides Won' In Departure

Lane Kiffin says all the attention — and “hatred” — this week will be on him, so he’s trying to shift the pressure onto No. 8 Ole Miss and its returning Heisman candidates.
He reminded fans he helped build the Ole Miss program (and hired Pete Golding), and touted Saturday’s matchup as the first Top‑10 Magnolia Bowl since 1962.
Kiffin warned of high emotions and paranoia about leaks/recording devices but emphasized that, ultimately, it’s the players who will decide the game.
