Nebraska Makes Major Coaching Change After 4th Consecutive Loss

Nebraska coach Matt Rhule fired offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen after the loss to Illinois; co-offensive QB/quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas will take over playcalling.
The Cornhuskers have tumbled from a 5-0 start into a four-game losing streak, averaging just 13.5 points in that stretch despite a season that still ranks well in Big Ten yards.
Tough tests loom — road at Rutgers next, then matchups with Ohio State and Iowa — and Holgorsen leaves with NFL/college coaching cred (former West Virginia and Houston head coach).
