Colombia leftist Cepeda will accept election result, does not rule out protests

Runoff set for June 21 between leftist Ivan Cepeda and right‑wing Abelardo De La Espriella — De La Espriella led the first round by about 670,000 votes.
Cepeda says he will accept the official result but could call for peaceful protests if voters’ rights are violated, stressing democracy and nonviolence.
His program: deepen social reforms (health, education, pensions), land redistribution and renewed peace talks — open to gas and mining but not new oil exploration.
