Pelé’s No.10 jersey from the 1958 World Cup final sold at Sotheby’s for $4.9 million.
He was just 17 when he scored twice in Brazil’s 5–2 win over Sweden — still the youngest player to score in a World Cup final.
The shirt was a gift to teammate Dida, stayed in his family and a museum, and is now the second-most valuable soccer shirt after Maradona’s “Hand of God” ($9.3M).
