MLB unveiled the initial All-Star rosters for the July 14 game in Philadelphia (FOX); fans chose starters, players/commissioner picked pitchers and reserves, and Bryce Harper’s “legend pick” gave the NL a 33rd spot — replacements are still expected.
The list features plenty of surprising snubs — high-performing pitchers, several second basemen and players from teams like the White Sox, Pirates, Mets and Angels were left out despite strong first halves.
