Pence following Paxton win: GOP ‘lost our way,’ but Democrats ‘have lost their minds’

Pence said Republicans have “lost our way” but also blasted Democrats as having “lost their minds,” blaming Democratic “extremism” for GOP unity and prospects.
He insisted he could “never” vote for Democrat James Talarico, stopped short of endorsing Ken Paxton, but expressed confidence in Texas Republicans.
The Paxton–Talarico Senate race — with a late Trump endorsement for Paxton and past impeachment/corruption scandals — is expected to draw big outside spending and be highly competitive.
