Tarik Skubal, Other Pro Athletes Credit Tiny New Scope for Faster Recoveries

Star athletes — including pitchers Tarik Skubal and Blake Snell and goalie Connor Hellebuyck — have used the NanoNeedle scope 2.0 and seen much faster recoveries than expected (Skubal ~5½ weeks, Hellebuyck ~3 weeks).
The NanoNeedle is a much smaller (1.9 mm) flexible arthroscope that uses less fluid and causes less tissue trauma, letting surgeons work in tight spaces (elbows, ankles, pediatric joints) with quicker rehab.
Doctors are excited and adoption is growing, but research is still limited and the disposable design raises cost/efficacy questions as manufacturers release new iterations.
