More than 60 'ghost signs' recorded in town

More than 60 faded "ghost signs" in Northampton — some up to 150 years old — have been recorded, offering visible glimpses into the town's past.
Local "citizen scientists" have been doing the hunting and research (and more volunteers are welcome — no experience needed).
The MOLA and Northamptonshire HER "Ghosts of Industry" project aims to preserve these social-history signs and expand the survey across the county.
