Reunion In The Bay: 49ers Reportedly Land DT DeForest Buckner From Colts In Trade

DeForest Buckner is heading back to the 49ers — the team that drafted him in 2016 and where he was their 2019 team MVP.
The Colts appear to be selling: they traded Buckner (to SF) and Quenton Nelson and fired GM Chris Ballard after a 2-5 start.
Buckner has been productive this season, and San Francisco added him to shore up a depleted defensive line with Nick Bosa sidelined and Alfred Collins out for the year.
