Deion Sanders Says He Was Joking About Offering Money To Silence Critics

Deion Sanders calls the $50,000-to-silence-critics remark a joke, saying he wouldn’t pay people off and was merely riffing.
He says he’s used to criticism, is unapologetically himself, and stresses he wouldn’t personally insult reporters or others.
Sanders has brought attention back to Colorado but the team is struggling this season (2-5 start, five-game skid; 18-26 overall at Colorado).
