C.J. Stroud, Texans Reportedly Delaying Contract Extension Talks Until Next Year

Texans and C.J. Stroud agreed to pause extension talks until after the 2026 season — he’ll play 2026 on the final year of his rookie deal while Houston already picked up his fully guaranteed 2027 option.
