US cancels joint marine drills with South Korea over Iran war-related force constraints

The U.S. canceled next month’s Ssangyong amphibious landing drill with South Korea, saying U.S. forces are constrained by the war in Iran.
The move follows President Trump’s recent scaling back of another large exercise (Ulchi) and his public comments, adding scrutiny to U.S.–ROK alliance dynamics.
