North Korean leader Kim showcases new warship ahead of visit by China's Xi

Kim Jong Un observed sea trials of the repaired 5,000-ton destroyer Kang Kon after a botched launch last year.
He was accompanied by his teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae, sparking talk she may be being groomed as his successor.
The visit came as Kim vowed to speed up a nuclear-capable navy and just before Chinese leader Xi Jinping’s visit, highlighting closer North Korea–China ties.
