Ebola outbreak in eastern Congo has now spread to the country's seventh province, officials say

Congo's fast-growing Ebola outbreak has now reached seven provinces, including western Sud-Ubangi, where the rare Bundibugyo strain was detected.
Nearly 6,942 cases and 3,349 deaths have been reported, and WHO says the outbreak is out of control and could rival the 2014–2016 epidemic.
Vaccination trials for the Bundibugyo strain are starting, but efforts are hindered by insecurity, displacement and health worker strikes.
