Washington archbishop removes priest as exorcist after comments on UFOs and demons

Washington’s archbishop removed Monsignor Stephen Rossetti as an exorcist and cut ties with his St. Michael Center after Rossetti publicly suggested UFO sightings might be demonic.
The archdiocese said his social-media statements “gravely undermine” Church teaching; Rossetti had warned demons can hide and manipulate people by posing as UFOs.
Rossetti, a prominent psychologist and exorcist with a large online following, apologized and said he will work to remain obedient to Church teachings.
