Three more US passengers from hantavirus-hit ship return to home states

Three passengers from the hantavirus-affected MV Hondius returned to their U.S. home states after four weeks at the National Quarantine Unit; 10 others remain under observation in Omaha.
Those who left were transported under biocontainment with coordination from federal and local authorities and will be monitored by their state/local health departments for another two weeks.
Officials remind that hantavirus symptoms can take up to 42 days to appear, so all 18 U.S. passengers were urged to complete the full monitoring period.
